BAM and COIMA Image celebrate Open Air Design at Portanuova

If it's true that the library is one of the best places to learn thanks to a silent, inclusive, and shared environment, then it's certainly true that there is no better place for an observatory on outdoor design than BAM Park, the Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano (Library of Trees Milan).

In the Portanuova district, the third edition of BAM OPEN AIR DESIGN comes to life, the exhibition dedicated to the forefront of outdoor design and architecture, scheduled from June 7th to 10th, 2023.

A project conceived by COIMA Image and part of the rich cultural program of BAM, in collaboration with the Fondazione Riccardo Catella, to give back to the city of Milan an event that bears witness to the epochal changes we are experiencing and that sees our future in regeneration, sustainability, and beauty.

Eleven industry-leading companies - Artemide, Eco Contract | Living Ceramics, Florim, Gandiablasco, Gessi, Kartell, Lapalma, Lualdi, Medit, Molteni&C, and Poliform - showcase an iconic piece from their collections within the Red Circle, a path of contamination between design, art, cinema, music, dance, and cuisine among the trees of BAM.

There are many collateral activities that add value and significance to the exhibition: workshops, concerts, bucolic and informal talks with a diverse lineup of exceptional guests - from Raphael Gualazzi to Davide Oldani, to name just two.
