MISCUSI opens in Portanuova: the Italian pasta fast good

Digital, dynamic, creative and sustainable. This is the identity – aligned with Portanuova’s values – miscusi will bring to the Piazza Gae Aulenti food district starting on Monday 15 May. A miscusi ‘in its fastest, most high-tech version ever, with a tasty mix of flavours to delight our palates whilst respecting the planet’.

The renowned Italian fresh pasta restaurant chain – also featuring in the UK – created by Alberto Cartasegna and Filippo Mottolese introduces itself as a model of ‘fast casual’ service to promote the Mediterranean diet, blending it with the tried-and-tested model of speed and technology from the fast-food world. The main actor is, of course, good pasta, served with unprecedented combinations of ingredients tailored to every lifestyle or allergy, at affordable prices.

The restaurant’s trademark is the open kitchen where Miscusi staff produce fresh, bronze-cut pasta made with 100% Italian organic flours from pesticide-free, fertilizer-free agriculture.

The miscusi menu, designed to be ‘good for you, good for the planet’ features different pasta formats to choose from and pair with various sauces. The home page of the website makes a well-visible promise: “We’ll warm up your heart for you”.

Moreover, digital orders from your table shorten waiting time and grant quicker service, also allowing the hastier customers to enjoy a scrumptious lunch or dinner in line with our ‘age of speed’.

Miscusi is a benefit corporation and, since March 2020, it is one of the first-ever B-Corp-certified Italian restaurant chains. It complies with the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
