A sneaker with a smart sole that can adapt to the terrain. Called Wahu, it was designed by Milan-based "enterprise factory" e-Novia.
Wahu is the first sneaker in which robotics and machine learning work in concert to adapt the soles to the body and its needs to minimize fatigue from walking or standing for hours. The shoes allow you to choose from three different levels of cushioning based on how you feel, plus they learn how to increase the foot support and relief you need.
