ECOALF has chosen the Portanuova District, in Milan, as the location of its first flagship store in Italy. The shop is in Piazza Gae Aulenti and was designed by Patricia Urquiola. The Spanish architect created a bright environment with shades of white enriched by organic textures made entirely of recycled material and with a focus on circularity. The latter are key elements of the brand and perfectly comply with Portanuova’s green philosophy.

The claim BECAUSE THERE IS NO PLANET B® has become synonymous to guaranteed sustainability. In July 2023, the brand has received the ‘Best for the World’ recognition, which positions it in the top-5 among the 5,000 B-Corp businesses worldwide. In 2015, it established Fondazione Ecoalf that, through its Upcycling the Oceans project, collects waste on the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea thanks to the voluntary work of about 5,000 fishermen.
