On Sunday, September 18, 2022, BAM - Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano welcomes the city back from the summer break with the traditional free concert, now in its fourth edition: Back to the City Concert, a project conceived and produced by Francesca Colombo, Cultural General Manager of BAM, Riccardo Catella Foundation.

The event, which falls in the European Year of Young People, will give voice to an unprecedented lyrical-symphonic concert between arias and ensemble pieces from 19th-century melodrama by the talents of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. The long-awaited Back to the City Concert celebrates in great style the return to the city and, strengthened by the 6,000 attendees of the last edition, it is confirmed as an unmissable event for Milanese citizens eager to enjoy an open air experience that combines culture and fun on the lawns of BAM, in a lively and engaging neighborhood.

Seats under the stage are extra limited and reserved for the BAMFRIENDs, the green community that supports the green care of the Portanuova park every day. Therefore if you’d like to experience the Back to the City Concert in the front row, join the BAMFRIEND community, it’s just a click away. Back to the City, BAM to the City!
