Another round, another race. To tickle the fantasy of kids and adults.
It is one of the most iconic elements of cult and avant-gard cinema movies, able to move us with its history and memories from past ages.
Amélie Poulain, along with entire generations, was enchanted by it, bewitched not only by the Eiffel Tower but also by that historic carousel at the Jardins du Trocadéro.
If Paris seems too distant for you at the moment, there is another, equally beautiful, carousel awaiting you in a magical location: Portanuova.
The Old Carousel is an old-fashioned merry-go-round, a marvellous jewel made of lights and galloping horses, a tradition carefully carried forward by the Formaggia family.
The merry-go-round is inspired by the Venetian Carousel tradition and it has been renovated respecting its historical identity. There are 60 swinging horses and about 30 other animals including tigers, giraffes, and lions, all hand made and hand painted, one by one, by the Modena-based artists to preserve a timeless appeal that still enchants children and adults alike.
