An art workshop dedicated to the “supreme poet” to follow online and produce creations individually to celebrate the Dantedì (Dante Day)! The workshop may be followed asynchronously by families without the need for a live lecturer, thanks to a presentation video and a kit – that you may download below – leading children and adults to the discovery of the BAM - Milan Library of Trees through the poet’s verses. It will start with the sonnet “Guido, I would that Lapo, thou, and I…” – presented in the original and paraphrased version so that the adults may read it to the children. We shall then be prepared for an itinerant story: two brothers, forced to stay home and not see anyone else, imagine all the beautiful things they could do with their friends if only they could play at the park. At the end of the narration-path, each child will think about their favourite game to play with his/her friend, which will be set at the park. He/she will describe it and illustrate it.
