Workshop Kids & Adults – Drops of Life: the Earth’s life through the water cycle
A digital path dedicated to the water cycle: an online and augmented-reality experience at BAM. Plunge into it wherever you are and as you like. Just scan the QR code at BAM and use the free Wi-Fi available in the entire park area.

5 mini-labs dedicated to the chemistry and physics of water, with free entry and repeated constantly from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Workshop Kids & Adults – Treasure hunt to find the Snow Queen
WANTED: Frozen’s great-grandmother.
A sequence from “The Snow Queen”, Frozen’s great-grandmother, has disappeared from Cineteca Milano (Milan film archive). We are looking for volunteers of all ages to retrieve the missing frames and restore the precious movie to give it back to the city. This is the background to a team game at BAM made of traps, quizzes, questions related to cinema, water, and ice, and even tests of courage and skills.

Time: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Itinerant music between the park and square with the Band of Affori.
Christmas marches and piva bagpipes will animate Piazza Gae Aulenti and the Milan Library of Trees.
30 musicians will delight you with a typical Christmas repertoire in the name of fun and tradition.

A walk dedicated to “Memorie d’acqua a Milano” (“Milan’s water memories”).
A cycle of guided tours to discover BAM’s architecture, design, and botanical heritage. A moment to tell the history and the transformation of the urban spaces through Portanuova’s architectural and social development.

Time: 3:30-5:00 p.m.

Workshop Adults – Filming the winter
A seminar to experiment with the language of cinema by taking part in a contest dedicated to ice and winter. It will include two sessions for groups of participants equipped with a smartphone and coordinated by a professional video maker.

Steps:
1. The basics to shooting 1 minute of short film
2. The participants will shoot their 1-minute film independently and send it to Cineteca Milano (the Milan film archive).

The best shorts will be published on the official BAM and Cineteca websites, and winners will receive a little prize.

Open Air Cinema
A programme of outdoor short films focused on the topic of water. Anyone will have the chance to see a short film while standing, walking across the park, or sitting in the areas specifically set up with deck chairs and blankets.
