The House of Memory, a building commissioned by the City of Milan, is the home of several Italian NGOs that work to preserve the memory of the struggle for the fundamental values of liberty and democracy in Italy: a battle which Milan has been an important part of. The truly unique façade is entirely covered by images: 19 portraits of anonymous Milan natives, which depict the social complexity of the Post-war period; 8 historic representations of some of the key moments in Milan history, from the deportations to the Piazza Fontana bombing.
